BDO Digital Discusses Microsoft Virtual Desktop Expansion
September 27, 2018
Microsoft has been busy ramping up efforts in virtualization technologies and one of their first announcements focused on Windows Virtual Desktop. The second, an integrated VMware NSX SD-WAN by VeloCloud with Microsoft Azure Virtual Wan.
Microsoft’s Virtual Desktop can be provided as an entire desktop experience or for delivering specific apps. This service is appealing in many ways and can provide a business with the support they need.
Given the client's need to get current with their technology and stay current, and to move to the cloud and reduce an on-premises footprint regardless of whether they're in the data center or the desktop, this solution affords the customer both luxuries.

Compared to other desktop virtualization solutions, Microsoft’s Virtual Desktop provides a more user-friendly experience. There's some simplicity offered here in the context of a reduced vendor set, that's going to probably provide a client and a partner with a better experience.
