Collaboration Leads to Greater Innovation at Financial Group

This financial group is a mutual company made up of around 145 employees based in Oak Brook, IL. The company has a history of embracing technology as a way to continuously innovate and improve. They recognized the importance of collaboration as a means to advance innovation within their company and needed a way for employees to communicate and collaborate with greater ease and efficiency. The SVP of the company approached BDO Digital to help develop a Microsoft SharePoint intranet that has improved communication and encouraged innovation company wide.

SharePoint Solution Right-Sized to Fit Company Goals

The solution needed to be more than just an out-of-the-box SharePoint solution. The financial firm was looking for a collaboration platform that would not only create self-service for employees to find what they needed on their own, but one that was also visually appealing and easy to use to encourage user adoption and long-term success.

BDO Digital led the company stakeholders through discussions around design, functionality and their overall goals and desires for the final outcome of the project. They explored various demonstrations and provided mock-ups to ensure the project plan was aligned with the business. BDO Digital was then able to get to work on deploying a solution with a very clear idea of the client's preferences and requirements. Together, BDO Digital and the financial group launched a SharePoint solution that helps encourage collaboration and drives innovation within the company.
